Brady Mitchell Construction has been serving its customers needs as a general contractor for over 20 years.  We are based in Napa, but our construction projects reach all throughout California.  Brady Mitchell Construction is the premier contractor when it comes to wine cave finishes, with experience of nearly a million square feet of cave floor space.  To date we have well over 60 winery and wine cave projects complete, with many more in the planning stages.

A freshly dug cave is our canvas - a cave without floors, systems, or utilities of any kind.  We specialize in all of the finish work, customizing them to reflect the unique desires of our customers, from fully functional wine storage tunnels to elaborate banquet and meeting facilities:

Although we do not perform the tunneling operation, we have full certification to work underground independently.  This allows us to work directly for owners if its desired, and it also allows the excavation company to move on to the next project, instead of hanging around as the safety representative.  There are several mining contractors we work with who perform the tunnel excavation, each mining company has their own style and leave behind unique characteristics.  A trained eye could usually tell who dug which cave.  You can see some of the mining contractors we work with in our site links section.  However, when projects are not capable of a traditional "tunneled" wine cave, we have built “cut and cover” caves instead:

We are very proud of our success with projects in the world of wine, however, wine caves & wineries are not the exclusive form at Brady Mitchell Construction.  Our customers have also had us build extravagant custom homes.  Brady Mitchell Construction has built many restaurants, and years ago performed acres of theme park site improvements.  Our experience with construction as a whole has given our employees as well as our customers the confidence that anything is possible, which recently enabled us to go beyond what has ever been done before (as far as we know) and build an elaborate 22,000 square foot spa and wine bar entirely underground.  The pictures below are before and after shots of a room in that spa.  It is a good example of the role Brady Mitchell Construction plays in the creation of caves.
